Format of the Group
Since the membership of the group is spread around the UK, the majority of communication is handled via a mailing list. In addition, we hold yearly meeetings for users to get together and meet face to face. These are deliberately designed to foster a friendly and collaborative atmosphere.
Currently the mailing list is here on Yahoo Groups. If you follow that link, you can sign up to the group, or read the archive of emails.
Who can join?
Any UK academic currently using the Affymetrix GeneChip system.
We are in the process of updating our membership system. We will be posting details of the new system soon.
Archive Only Access
For those who don't want a daily barrage of e-mail which may not be relevant to their interest, a web accessible archive is available. This archive is compiled automatically as an overnight task on a daily basis. Passwords are made available to members after registration.
