Applied Computational Biology and Bioinformatics
The ACBB group at the Paterson Institute for Cancer Research is interested in developing a better understanding of the genome and the diverse set of roles it plays in cancer. We are a multi-disciplinary team of computer scientists, bioinformaticians and biologists. We collaborate with basic- and clinical-scientists and spend most of our time working with high throughput gene expression data arising from RNA-Seq, microarrays and quantitative proteomics. We have a particular focus on non-coding RNA and alternative splicing.
